Job summary

Kabstrading Co. is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain the plant, offices, and restrooms in Cape Town. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize equipment, and ensure waste and recycling bins are kept tidy and replenished.

Adherence to safety procedures and reporting maintenance or safety issues to management are essential. The role may involve supporting with sorting recyclable materials and other duties as needed in a busy facility in Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the plant, including production floors, offices, and restrooms
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty and clean waste and recycling bins
• Clean and sanitize equipment and machinery
• Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working in the plant
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
• Assist with other duties as needed, such as sorting and separating recyclable materials
