• Daily Cleaning Assistance: perform routine cleaning across designated areas to maintain cleanliness and order.
• Surface Care: sweep, mop, vacuum floors, dust and wipe surfaces, empty and sanitise bins.
• Restroom Hygiene & Monitoring: clean and sanitise restrooms, restock supplies, monitor hygiene.
• General Maintenance Support: assist with light maintenance tasks and report faults or hazards.
• Team Collaboration: work with cleaners and staff to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:

South African citizenship – Must be a South African-born citizen.

Previous work experience – Any prior work experience in any role.

Attention to detail – Committed to maintaining a clean and organized space with a demonstrated ability to follow procedures.

Physically fit – Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks consistently, including standing, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout shifts.

Transportation – Must be able to get to and from work without issue.

WILL ALSO COUNT IN YOUR FAVOUR IF YOU HAVE:

Cleaning experience – Previous experience in cleaning, facilities or janitorial roles.

Education – A Matric or a higher qualification.

Basic understanding of cleaning supplies, equipment, and hygiene safety protocols.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Daily Cleaning Assistance
Perform routine cleaning tasks across all designated areas to maintain cleanliness and order.

Surface Care
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and wipe down surfaces; empty and sanitise waste bins.

Restroom Hygiene & Monitoring
Clean and sanitise restrooms, restock supplies, and monitor hygiene standards throughout the day.

General Maintenance Support
Assist with light maintenance tasks when required and report any faults, hazards, or equipment issues.

Team Collaboration
Work closely with fellow cleaners and staff to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment at all times.
