SA Metal Group in Cape Town is recruiting a Cleaner for the Boilershop workshop. The role is permanent, with standard hours and potential overtime as required. You will help keep the workshop clean, assist artisans, and ensure safety regulations are followed.

The position requires Grade 12 or equivalent and 1–3 years of relevant experience, plus the ability to work on your own or in a team and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Strength to handle materials and tools (physically fit).

Responsibilities

The Boilershop workshop department currently has a vacancy for a hardworking, dedicated individual to join their team . The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Cleaning of floors, work areas and work stations

• Clean surrounding pathways and entrances

• Overall and general housekeeping on a daily basis

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop, workstations and tool stores

• Cleaning of tools and equipment

• Assisting Artisans with basic tasks as and when required
