Job summary

Primcura Education is seeking enthusiastic Class Teachers to join our expanding network of educators. We have roles across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 in a range of supportive UK schools.

Whether you are an experienced Class Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from you. Applicants must hold QTS and be eligible to work in the UK, with enhanced DBS preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in a UK school setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum.
• Create an inclusive, positive learning environment for all pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to support learning.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding in class.
• Fulfil planning, marking, and pastoral duties expected of a Class Teacher.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
• Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and safeguarding
• Fulfil the responsibilities expected of a Class Teacher, including planning, marking, and pastoral support for pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working as a Class Teacher in a UK school setting (preferred but not essential for ECTs)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
