Claims Consultant job vacancy in Stellenbosch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process and manage claims submitted by clients on the portal
- Review claim details and compare them with the insurer’s documentation.
- Make claims “live” once verified.
- Prepare daily payments for clients.
- Process quotes for parts and issue authorizations for suppliers.
- Ensure payments from insurers are received and follow up when necessary.
- Monitor clients’ bank accounts daily and allocate funds correctly.
- Ensure clients stay within their limits and do not default due to non-payment.
- Handle clients professionally, even in difficult situations.
- Follow established processes carefully to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative skills.
- Senior Certificate – a relevant Diploma or Certificate will be beneficial
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Experience in claims, finance, or insurance is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
