  • Proficient on MS Office Suite & related Insurance systems
  • Previous relevant exeperience and basic understanding of insurance policies and procedures is beneficial
  • Must be billingual (Afrikaans and English)
Responsibilities
  • Handle the initial stages of claim processing, including receiving, sorting, and documenting incoming claim forms and related documents
  • Contact policyholders, agents, and other involved parties to gather missing information, clarify details, and verify claim authenticity
  • Enter, retrieve, and manage claims information using computer systems and maintain organized, updated claim files
  • Review claims for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and insurance policy details
  • Answer inquiries from policyholders or their representatives regarding claim status and policy coverage
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, and distributing documents to appropriate personnel
  • Calculate the amount of a claim and process payments or transmit claims for further investigation or adjudication
