A leading engineering solutions firm in South Africa is seeking a Civil and Structural Engineer to support renewable energy projects. The role involves producing designs for various technologies, ensuring compliance and constructability, and coordinating with EPC teams. In this position, you will support multidisciplinary infrastructure projects spanning PV, wind, and battery energy storage systems. You will work closely with EPC teams, ensuring all designs are compliant, constructible, and aligned with project risks and timelines.

Produce site grading, foundation designs, and civil infrastructure layouts for various renewable technologies
Perform structural analysis and verification for PV racks, wind turbine foundations, and BESS enclosures
Design battery enclosures for fire suppression, ventilation, and thermal management
Conduct constructability reviews for access roads, buildings, and auxiliary structures
Coordinate with EPC teams to ensure structural compliance and effective risk mitigation
Pr Eng registration
5–9 years’ civil and structural engineering experience
Strong structural analysis capability across renewable technologies
Experience with foundation design, infrastructure layouts, and site development
Ability to collaborate effectively with EPC and multidisciplinary teams
Designs delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with project risk profiles
Effective management of civil and structural constraints across technologies
Clear, proactive coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Robust compliance and constructability outcomes throughout execution
