Maven Takapuna is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to support a growing workload in Queenstown. You will deliver design work for subdivision projects, manage tasks with increasing autonomy, and prepare technical reports, designs and specifications.

Qualifications

  • BE, NZDE, or BEngtech from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • 2–5 years of land development experience in New Zealand.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D is desirable.
  • Understanding NZS3910 construction contracts.

Job description

We are seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to assist with our ever-growing workload in Queenstown. This role will see you involved in a diverse range of tasks across a wide variety of projects, from project start up right through to completion.

  • Deliver design work for subdivision projects.
  • Manage project tasks with increasing autonomy.
  • Prepare technical reports, designs, and specifications.
  • Apply strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Support construction monitoring & site observations.
About You
  • Relevant tertiary education (BE, NZDE, BEngtech).
  • 2-5 years’ land development experience in New Zealand.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D/ desirable.
  • Understanding construction contracts specifically NZS3910.
  • A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working out on site conducting inspections of work and resolution of issues.
  • A high degree of attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise and complete work quickly.
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence.
