Job summary

Fountain Civil Engineering is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, execution, and supervision of major infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to engineering standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BEng in Civil Engineering, registration with ECSA or eligibility, and experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and valid SA driver's license or equivalent.
• ECSA registration or eligibility preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; strong project management knowledge.
• Experience with infrastructure projects and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities.
• Perform structural assessments and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with SA engineering regulations and safety requirements.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control procedures.
• Review construction materials and engineering calculations.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Support tender preparation and contract administration.
