Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Gauteng is seeking a Civil Designer to develop detailed drawings and generate BOM components. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of experience in metallurgical and industrial plant design, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, along with excellent communication skills. A valid driver's license and vehicle ownership are required. Market-related remuneration is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years experience as a Designer in metallurgical/Industrial plant design.
• Must own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is essential.
• Experience in metallurgical (process) plant layouts & designs.
• Generation of BOM components.

Responsibilities

• Generate BOM components and scope of work documents.
• Produce detailed drawings from set out as per drawing office standards.
• Produce as-built drawings.
• Produce material take-off / Bill of Quantities.
• Understand and apply relevant industry standards.
• Attend site visits.
