ABOUT THE ROLE

The ALX team in Rwanda is excited to offer this opportunity to join us as a Community Fellow. We are on the lookout for an outstanding individual who will implement strategies to strengthen our connections with our graduate community, acting as a bridge between us and them.

As a Community Fellow, you will play a key role in building relationships with community members and using what you learn to improve our talent data. Your day to day tasks will include:

  • Building Relationships: Get to know community members and learn about their career goals and skills.
  • Collecting Data: Gather and record information to fill in gaps and improve our data.
  • Increasing Engagement: Encourage community members to stay involved with ALX.

This role combines analytical thinking, business skills, and people skills, making it perfect for someone who enjoys making meaningful connections. The role starts in the last week of June and lasts for three months.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Data Mapping: Gather and analyze alumni talent data to generate insightful reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic Outreach: Reach out to alumni to discuss their profiles and explain the benefits of engaging with our organization, emphasizing the potential for meaningful collaboration with ALX.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with alumni to understand their career goals, unique skills, and interests.
  • Data Reporting: Keep precise and current records of all alumni details and interactions, ensuring the talent pool data remains accurate and reliable.
  • Talent Data Analysis: Collect comprehensive information about alumni aspirations and skills to uncover trends that inform strategic organizational decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
