Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cisco Network Engineer to join our team on a project-by-project contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge in network implementation, security, and troubleshooting, primarily within Cisco environments. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to work independently to deliver configured systems and documentation on time.

Responsibilities
  • Configuration & Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and foundational security devices (e.g., firewall policy implementation).
  • Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve common network issues across LAN and WAN, including connectivity, performance, and security problems.
  • Protocol Management: Work with standard routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, and network segmentation.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration files, and procedural documentation.
  • Project Execution: Execute specific tasks and project milestones as defined in individual Statements of Work (SOWs) for clients.
  • Security Adherence: Follow best practices for network security and data handling while working on client systems.
