About the Role Our client, a professional couple residing in Pretoria, Gauteng , requires a skilled and nurturing Childminder for their twin toddlers, aged 18 months. This is a No remote role, focused on providing dedicated, in-home care for the children during specific working hours. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with toddlers, a strong understanding of early childhood development, and a patient, energetic disposition. Responsibilities will include managing the twins' daily routines, fostering their learning and social skills through play-based activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This position is part-time, offering a consistent schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance. We are seeking someone who can provide a secure, stimulating, and loving environment for the twins while their parents are at work.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for two toddlers (18 months old) in a safe and stimulating home environment.
• Manage daily routines including feeding, napping, and diaper changes/potty training support.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, focusing on sensory play, language development, and fine/gross motor skills.
• Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the toddlers.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the children's play areas and feeding spaces.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's activities, progress, and any concerns.
• Foster a positive and nurturing relationship with the twins.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Childminder, Nanny, or similar role, specifically with toddlers and multiples, is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of toddler development and play-based learning strategies.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
