About the Role

Our client, a warm and welcoming family in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Childminder to provide exceptional care and educational stimulation for their two children, aged 18 months and 4 years. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of early childhood development, a creative approach to activities, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care, engaging activities, and developmental support of the children within their home in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for children aged 18 months and 4 years.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and motor skill development.
• Engage children in creative play, reading, and educational games.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children.
• Assist with daily routines, including naps and mealtimes.
• Ensure the children's well-being and safety at all times.

• Handle light child-related housekeeping duties.
• Transport children to and from local activities if required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a childminder, nanny, or similar childcare role.
