Placements24 is seeking a proactive Childcare Program Coordinator for our Welkom center. You will oversee daily operations, lead staff, and ensure high standards of care and safety while supporting children from early years to school readiness.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Childcare Program Coordinator to oversee operations at their center in Welkom . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of childcare services, managing staff, developing program activities, and maintaining high standards of care and safety. You will play a key part in creating a positive and enriching environment for children, supporting their development from early years through to school readiness. This position requires a blend of leadership, administrative skill, and a genuine passion for early childhood education within the Free State community.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support childcare staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for all age groups.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, health, and safety standards.
• Manage parent communications, inquiries, and feedback to foster strong relationships.
• Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, including resource management and budget adherence.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
