About the Role

Our client is searching for an enthusiastic and caring Childcare Assistant to support educators in their busy childcare centre in Randburg . In this role, you will assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children, supporting daily routines, and engaging children in learning activities. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development, eager to learn and grow within the childcare sector, and possesses a patient and positive attitude. You will work closely with lead teachers to provide high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily activities and learning experiences.
• Provide direct supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Support children with daily routines, including feeding, napping, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including tidying play areas and sanitizing toys.
• Engage children in play and learning activities, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Communicate effectively with lead teachers and other staff members regarding children's needs and progress.
