Job summary

ATS Client is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead a technology-driven team in the Facilities Management industry. The role focuses on strategy, secure integration of OT and IT, and governance of data and security across building technologies.

The CTO will drive measurable business outcomes through technology investments, resilience, and asset value enhancement for client workplaces in Pretoria and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT/CS or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA, Master’s in Engineering, Technology Management or Digital Transformation).
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience as Head of Technology or similar role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics), Information Technology / Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA, Master's in Engineering, Technology Management, or Digital Transformation).
• 10 years senior leadership experience as Head of Technology, Engineering Lead, Digital Transformation Lead or related.
• Professional registration (e.g. ECSA or equivalent - advantageous).
• Certifications in relevant areas such as:
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
• Cybersecurity (e.g. CISSP, CISM).
• Enterprise Architecture (e.g. TOGAF).
• Project/Programme Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
