Job summary

A governmental body in Western Cape seeks an experienced IT Manager. You will manage network infrastructure and oversee staff activities while ensuring quality control and documentation preparation. Minimum Requirements

An appropriate 3-year National Diploma / B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Information Technology or related; A Minimum of 3 years experience in network infrastructure management or information technology; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Plans, organises and controls activities of staff and contractors who are responsible for the development of infrastructure; Quality control; Develop and maintain network infrastructure; Prepares documentation including training manuals; Liaison with client departments; Experience in Remote / Telephonic IT support will be advantageous.

Remuneration

Notes

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to do a practical and attend interviews on a date and time determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments / proficiency tests. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
