Overview

Are you a strategic financial leader with the vision and drive to shape the financial future of a leading security solutions provider?

A leading South African provider of integrated, intelligence-driven security and risk management solutions, delivering innovative services across sectors such as mining, logistics, retail, aviation, and critical infrastructure.

As the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the companys financial strategy, planning, and governance to support its long-term objectives. Youll partner closely with the CEO and executive team to provide strategic insight, ensure sound financial management, and safeguard the companys assets and profitability.

Duties :

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned to business goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of management accounts, financial statements, and variance analyses.
  • Budget & Expenditure Management: Manage budgets, monitor costs, and drive initiatives to enhance expenditure control and efficiency.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and Bidvest Group policies.
  • Financial Management: Oversee cash flow, working capital, and cost control, while identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide financial insights and scenario analyses to guide executive decision-making and business growth.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team that exemplifies excellence and accountability.
Experience & Skills

Experience / Qualifications :

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Honours / CTA
  • CA(SA) / CIMA

Experience :

  • 510 years senior management experience within a complex, fast-paced environment - - ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or large corporate sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems (ERP / SYSPRO), advanced Excel, and financial modelling.
  • Proven ability to influence at executive level and lead transformation in financial management and performance.
