Placements24 is seeking a motivated Chemical Process Intern for a fully remote internship. You will support data analysis, process simulation, and documentation while collaborating with experienced engineers in a virtual setting.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to industrial chemical processes, mentorship from industry professionals, a monthly stipend, and the chance to build a professional network remotely while developing core engineering competencies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of chemical engineering principles and processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to process simulation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in data collection, analysis, and reporting for ongoing projects.
• Support development and refinement of process simulation models.
• Help prepare technical documentation, including P&IDs and operating procedures.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute ideas for process optimization.
• Conduct literature reviews on relevant chemical engineering topics.
• Perform other duties to support the team’s objectives.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
