Hire Resolve’s client in Malmesbury seeks an Accountant Finance (CA) to join a dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager Finance, the role manages financial operations, prepares statements and provides strategic financial guidance while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include month-end close, financial analysis, and oversight of accounts payable/receivable and payroll, with IFRS and JSE listing compliance emphasis. Strong accounting software proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification with articles completed.
• Minimum 2 years related experience in a similar environment.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in using financial software and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis and account reconciliations.
• Oversee and review financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and JSE listings requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements (income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements).
• Manage general ledger, chart of accounts and accounting software to accurately record and track financial transactions.
