Experience in financial services, asset management, investment reporting, or transaction support will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of the firm's financial strategy and reporting function
- Deliver high-quality financial and management reports that support business insight and decision-making
- Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements and ensure full compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with investment, compliance, and operations teams to align financial reporting with business performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling for internal strategic planning
- Drive continuous improvement in controls, systems, and reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory obligations
- Participate in or lead special projects such as M&A, valuations, due diligence, or strategic financial reviews
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and ethical accountability
Role Requirements
- CA(SA) designation (completed articles at a Big 4 audit firm preferably)
- Solid academic history, with a minimum 65% average
- Experience in financial services, audit, investment, or transaction advisory roles at any of the following levels: 6‑9 years post‑articles experience
- 2‑5 years post‑articles experience
- Newly qualified
- Strong technical grounding in IFRS, financial reporting, and analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Strong Excel skills; exposure to financial systems, modelling or BI tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ethical responsibility
