Introduction

A leading group of companies is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a qualified professional with strong IFRS knowledge, group consolidation experience, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and assist with consolidated financial statements for the group.

Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes.

Reconcile and eliminate intercompany transactions.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant tax standards.

Liaise with external auditors during the audit cycle.

Support system and process improvements to strengthen reporting accuracy.

Desired Experience & Qualification

CA(SA) qualification essentialpleted articles at an auditing firm.

Strong understanding of IFRS and financial consolidation.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with Sage X3, Accpac, SAP, or similar ERP systems.

Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively across departments and work within tight deadlines.
