A leading Electrical Engineering company is seeking a professional Channel Sales Manager in Durban, South Africa. The successful candidate will manage Distributor relationships, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with partners to maximize revenue. Job Specification: A leader in the Electrical Engineering field is seeking a professional and experienced Channel Sales Manager to focus on their Africa main purpose of this position is to actively manage the performance and new business growth of all the companyproduct ranges with regards to the complete Distributor business in Africa. The business growth model is based on channels such as Distributors Partners in the Africa Region and all the associated End User Accounts (indirect Accounts) within these allocated regions as well to ensure the Sales Budget is achieved.

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements :

Matric

Post matric electrical or commercial qualification is an advantage

Minimum of 3 years sales experience is required

Demonstrated experience in Channel Account Management.

Proficient in MS Office & SYSPRO

A legal drivers licence.

The duties of this position entail

Manage the Distributor relationships to maximize revenue with regards to the complete Product Portfolio range.

Identify and leverage new business opportunities with Distributors with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Work with Distributors to develop business plans with regards to the WEG Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Regularly review the Distributor Business in Africa with regards to business plans and contributions and implement improvement plans monthly with both Vice President Commercial Sales Africa & Oceania.

Work actively with New Partners to develop train and ultimately promote business development to all these above-mentioned activities to build their sales and technical capability build pipeline and improve the accuracy of forecasting within Africa with regards to the completeportfolio.

Follow up promptly on sales leads generated by internal Sales & Marketing activity with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services related to Distributor Business.

Work with Distributors to ensure all leads are tracked and loaded activity with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Improve quality of forecasting and maintain 3X pipeline activity with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Participate in trade shows conferences and other marketing events as required.

Actively work with Partners in the Africa to generate case studies white papers and success stories that can be utilized by Africa Sales network activity with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Track use of marketing tools by Distributor Partners and encourage and educate on usage activity with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Work with Distributor Partners in the allocated regions on developing and executing marketing plans activity with regards to the Variable Speed Drive Range and associated services.

Ensure that all standard operating procedures are adhered to activity with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Ensure professional standards are maintained in all business situations activity with regards to the Product Portfolio range and associated services.

Act as a representative at senior level with customers and peer organisations.

This is an On the Road position so you will need to be willing to travel extensively throughout South Africa including frequent overnight stays away from home base.
