Publicis Plus in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced channel planning professional to own detailed planning and delivery validation for a specific channel or platform. You will convert the Specialist Briefing Pack into an executable plan with KPI targets, formats, placements, costs and delivery proof requirements.

You will collaborate with Planning, Buying Ops, Ad Ops and Measurement to forecast delivery, monitor performance and ensure alignment with booked commitments before billing.

Qualifikationen

• 3–6 years in channel planning or platform implementation.
• Channel expertise and deep knowledge of the assigned channel/platform.
• Forecasting of reach, delivery, cost and KPI performance.
• Supplier fluency; experience working with media owners, platforms and vendors.
• Commercial accuracy and understanding of cost, rates, value and variance.
• Delivery validation and checking proof against booked commitments.
• Analytical thinking and interpretation of delivery and performance data.
• Strong collaboration with Planning, Buying Ops, Ad Ops and Measurement.

Overview

Role purpose

Owns detailed planning and delivery validation for a specific channel or platform. Converts the Specialist Briefing Pack into an executable plan with supplier/platform recommendation, targeting, format, cost, forecast KPI, optimisation levers and proof-of-delivery requirements. Not Buying Ops — does not own system loading, reconciliation or payment chasing.

• Interpret the Specialist Briefing Pack from the Journey Planner.
• Build the detailed channel recommendation.
• Recommend platforms, suppliers, inventory, formats, placements, targeting and buying approach.
• Forecast delivery against required channel KPIs.
• Confirm proof-of-delivery requirements before activation.
• Support Buying Ops with clear booking details.
• Monitor delivery where relevant.
• Validate whether supplier delivered what was approved and booked.
• Recommend billing approval, hold, makegood, credit or dispute.
• Provide channel-level PCA learning.
