Smith Garb And Associates Cc in South-East Johannesburg seeks a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to partner with the MD, drive profitability and growth across Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, Payroll, Supply Chain and Operations.

The role requires CA(SA), 7+ years post-articles, strong stock exposure, and proven ability to improve performance beyond finance. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, controls, and finance team development while strengthening governance.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years post-articles in senior finance leadership.
• Strong industrial/engineering/manufacturing experience with stock exposure.
• Proven procurement, costing, inventory and working capital skills.
• Strong commercial/analytical skills with leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cash flow management.
• Partner with the MD and EXCO to drive profitability, growth and overall business performance.
• Provide cross-functional oversight across Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, Payroll and Operations.
• Drive procurement strategy, supplier negotiations, stock forecasting and inventory control.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements across systems and processes.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance, statutory compliance and risk management.
• Lead and develop the finance team while promoting accountability across the business.
