Your Role as Group CFO: As Chief Financial Officer, you will take full strategic and operational responsibility for all financial activities across the KAHRE Renewable Energy Group. You report directly to the Founder & Group CEO and work closely with operational CEOs, strategic partners, institutional investors, and multilateral development institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group Finance Strategy & Corporate Structure: Design and implement a tax‑ and investor‑optimized group structure (Cyprus / South Africa / Dubai). Consolidate project SPVs into a scalable, compliant group platform. Drive group‑level financial planning, treasury, capital table, and equity management.
  • Project Finance & Capital Raising: Lead and execute all capital rounds (Seed / Series A / Series B / non‑recourse project finance). Liaise with international banks, DFIs, climate funds, public donors, and blended finance vehicles. Prepare and review financial models, investment teasers, term sheets, and due diligence data. Structure and negotiate investment vehicles (debt / equity / grants) for large‑scale infrastructure.
  • Financial Control & Group Reporting: Build and lead the internal finance function (controlling, accounting, audit, compliance). Implement platform‑wide reporting systems and financial KPIs. Prepare investor reporting at both holding and project level.
  • Investor Relations & Governance: Build relationships with institutional investors and global financial partners. Coordinate board reporting, shareholder management, strategic partner onboarding. Support PPP structures and strategic engagements with South African government institutions.
Your Profile
  • University degree in finance, accounting, business or economics.
  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, renewable energy or project finance.
  • Prior exposure to emerging markets or development finance preferred.
  • Strong expertise in debt / equity structuring, DFI engagement and capital stack management.
  • Solid understanding of investment governance, tax structuring and group treasury.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, high integrity, strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Cyprus, South Africa and Dubai.
