Placements24 is seeking a skilled Welding and Fabrication Technician in Klerksdorp to join its manufacturing and maintenance team. You will perform welding and fabrication tasks on various metal structures and components, using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes with attention to quality and safety.

The role requires reading blueprints and welding symbols, working with multiple metals and thicknesses, and maintaining equipment compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Welder with proven fabrication experience.
• Ability to read welding symbols and technical drawings.
• Experience with a variety of metals and thicknesses.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on different metals according to specs.
• Fabricate metal components and structures per design drawings.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength and integrity.

• Follow safety procedures and operate welding equipment safely on site in Klerksdorp.
