Buzzblock (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Qualified Truck Panelbeater in Gauteng, Germiston. The role focuses on repairing and restoring heavy truck bodywork, including metalwork, welding, fabrication, and finishing to restore structural integrity and appearance.

You will read job cards, inspect damage, quote repairs, order parts, fabricate where needed, weld, sand and paint, and perform roadworthiness checks to ensure finished work meets standards. A demanding hands-on role with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Matric required.
• Trade-tested panel beater with red seal certification.
• 3–5 years’ experience in panel beating, preferably with heavy-duty trucks.

Responsabilités

• Read the job card/quotation to establish work to be done.
• Inspect damaged trucks to determine damage extent.
• Assist Estimator with repair quotes and provide detailed quotes.
• Order necessary parts and follow up.
• Fabricate parts when original components are unavailable.
• Perform MIG, TIG or oxy-acetylene welding to join metal parts.
• Sand, grind and smooth repaired areas; apply primers and paints.
• Conduct roadworthiness checks and ensure quality standards.
