Job summary

Genius Academy is seeking a Centre Mentor to lead the centre, implement the approved curriculum, and drive high-quality programming in line with Department of Education guidelines and Genius Academy standards.

You will manage day-to-day operations, lead educators and support staff, engage with parents, and uphold a positive, data-informed culture while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and a related qualification in child development or ECD.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing an ECD centre or educational institution.
• Willingness to obtain Health & Safety and First Aid certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide input and support in day-to-day management of the school.
• Maintain a great culture and uphold company standards & values.
• Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff.
• Engage parents and communicate their concerns.
• Coordinate client and intercompany communication.
• Oversee financial and administrative functions of the Centre.
• Stock purchase control.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Market and promote the centre and its activities.
