Centralised Pharmacy Operative – MediPAC (Permanent) role with full-time hours – 40 hours per week. Working Monday to Friday 6am – 2:30pm, 12‑months fixed term.
MediPAC is our facility in Runcorn that has been operating since June 2019 and provides a "Hub and Spoke" solution for assembling repeat prescriptions in pharmacy. We are one of the UK’s largest automated pharmacies, using industry‑leading technology; our site currently assembles in excess of 1 million repeat prescriptions a month and over 16 million prescriptions annually for all Rowlands branches in England, Scotland and Wales.
We currently have an exciting opportunity within the MediPAC facility as Centralised Pharmacy Operative, based in Runcorn, Cheshire. You will participate in the automated facility to ensure the correct products are efficiently processed and ready for distribution to the branch network for dispensing.
MediPAC is a registered Pharmacy that is currently looking for either an experienced NVQ2 or somebody willing to join Pharmacy Services to work towards a Central Pharmacy operative qualification.
We are looking for someone who embraces change and is able to support the existing team to participate in new and future business initiatives. You will have a positive “can do” attitude. Practical experience within a community pharmacy, hospital or manufacturing/industrial environment is desirable.
NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, or a willingness to undertake training to achieve the qualification.
