A community support organization is looking for a full-time position to coordinate trauma-informed support services for those impacted by violence. Responsibilities include administering peer-based services, ensuring quality, and providing crisis response. Applicants with personal experiences related to violence or the criminal justice system are especially encouraged to apply. The position requires working afternoons, evenings, and some weekends along with on-call duties.
Department/Program: Chester Community Coalition
Our organization provides trauma-informed support services to families directly affected by violence. Services include individual and group therapy and case management. To heal the psychological and emotional impact of homicides and reduce trauma-related reactive violence in the City of Chester, PA.
Service Areas: Violence Prevention/Behavioral Health/Community Development
This full-time position coordinates and administers services that provide peer-based intensive follow-up to individuals impacted by gun violence, quality assurance, and resource development. It is primarily afternoons, evenings, and every other weekend and requires on-call, in-person crisis response. Applicants with personal experience in overcoming violence/ violence-related injuries/ the criminal justice system are especially encouraged to apply.
