Job summary

A community support organization is looking for a full-time position to coordinate trauma-informed support services for those impacted by violence. Responsibilities include administering peer-based services, ensuring quality, and providing crisis response. Qualifications

Department/Program: Chester Community Coalition

Our organization provides trauma-informed support services to families directly affected by violence. Services include individual and group therapy and case management. To heal the psychological and emotional impact of homicides and reduce trauma-related reactive violence in the City of Chester, PA.

Service Areas: Violence Prevention/Behavioral Health/Community Development

This full-time position coordinates and administers services that provide peer-based intensive follow-up to individuals impacted by gun violence, quality assurance, and resource development. It is primarily afternoons, evenings, and every other weekend and requires on-call, in-person crisis response. Applicants with personal experience in overcoming violence/ violence-related injuries/ the criminal justice system are especially encouraged to apply.
