Job description

Hikvision, a division of Forbtech Group of Companies, is seeking an experienced Senior CCTV & Access Control Help Desk Agent to support our nationwide client base. This role requires advanced technical troubleshooting, strong customer service, and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues on Hikvision CCTV and Access Control platforms.

Because many of our clients and internal operations communicate in Afrikaans, the ability to speak and write Afrikaans & English fluently is essential.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • 3–5 years of experience in CCTV, Access Control, or IT Security Help Desk.
  • Strong understanding of Hikvision products and platforms.
  • Good grasp of networking fundamentals (IP configuration, DHCP, VLAN basics).
  • Strong remote troubleshooting skills with tools such as TeamViewer/AnyDesk.
  • Afrikaans & English fluency required.
Preferred / Advantageous
  • Hikvision HCSA or Hikvision Professional certifications.
  • CompTIA N+, MTCNA, or basic networking training.
  • Experience with:
    • HikCentral Pro
    • Hik-Partner Pro
    • CCTV network layouts and PoE design
    • Access control wiring logic
  • Previous experience in a security company, MSP, or technical support centre.
