Introduction

An exciting opportunity exists for a Cash & Carry / Warehouse Supervisor in Kimberley.

The role is responsible for overseeing warehouse and distribution operations, driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing staff to support overall operational efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
  • Deliver excellent service and support to customers.
  • Supervise the switchboard function in the branch.
  • Promote and issue Loyalty Cards and encourage redemption of points.
  • Assist customers with stock collection and manage inbound / outbound logistics queries.
• Warehouse & Distribution Management:
  • Control warehouse costs and minimise shrinkage.
  • Drive and maintain cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage reverse logistics from customers and couriers.
  • Follow up on in-transit, inbound, and customer queries.
  • Ensure accurate stock receiving and timely replenishment.
• Housekeeping & Maintenance:
  • Uphold OHS and Food Safety standards within the warehouse and Cash & Carry.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure high cleanliness standards at all times.
• Stock Take:
  • Prepare and participate in quarterly stock takes.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy and traceability.
• Financial / Cash Management:
  • Oversee all cash transactions for Cash & Carry customers.
  • Complete daily cash-ups and process banking slips.
  • Manage till floats and process COD account payments and receipts.
• General Administration:
  • Maintain daily invoices and filing systems.
  • Follow up on outstanding PODs and manage courier waybills.
  • Assist with raising purchase orders and GRV processing.
  • Keep branch spreadsheets, reports, and documentation up to date.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent.
• Experience in the Food or Manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver's licence.
