Duties

• Risk Management – reduce the risk associated with hospital and authorized cases.
• On‑going training and development – update knowledge and skills to deliver cost‑effective, professional service.
• Case management of authorised cases according to Scheme rules and protocols.
• Reduce risk associated with hospitalization and provide effective, managed healthcare.
• Customer Service delivery.
• Assist the client by approving appropriate funding.
• Deliver effective call centre service to achieve member satisfaction.
• Answer calls in a way that achieves member satisfaction.

Requirements

• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience as a nursing practitioner with experience in Trauma, ICU or Theatre.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
