Contract Details: Full-time permanent

Care4U is a leading home care company based in Gauteng South Africa. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team and provide high-quality care to our clients.

As a caregiver you will be responsible for assisting our clients with their daily activities including personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping. You will also provide companionship and emotional support to our clients ensuring that they feel comfortable and safe in their own homes.

We welcome both experienced and inexperienced caregivers to apply for this position. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you excel in your role and provide the best care possible to our clients.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual
Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Report any changes in clients condition to the supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and activities
  • Follow all safety and infection control procedures
  • Attend training and staff meetings as required
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
