Job summary

A care services provider is seeking a care assistant to provide the highest level of care to residents during the night. Responsibilities include personal care assistance, monitoring, and ensuring cleanliness. Previous experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. Excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential. The position is based in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care of older people is preferred but training will be given.
• Ability to ensure residents' dignity and individuality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care and continence needs.
• Closely monitoring residents during the night and undertaking regular checks.
• Supporting residents with eating and drinking.
• Ensuring the home and equipment is safe, clean, and tidy at all times.
• Completing accurate care records and reporting any changes.
