Position Summary

A world-renowned cardiothoracic surgeon is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Practice Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the practice, including administrative tasks and patient care standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and professional standards.
  • Manage scheduling and coordination of operations, including theatre lists for three hospitals where the surgeon operates.
  • Liaise with various medical aids and coordinate patient billing, invoicing, and accounting references.
  • Schedule appointments for patients and manage the Medical Professional's time.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrators to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and under pressure.
  • Operate professionally, dependably, and independently with a focus on output.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards and apply them in daily practice.
  • Perform personal errands on behalf of the Medical Professional as needed.
