Job summary

Standard Bank Group in Gauteng seeks a Senior Product Manager for card payments. You will engage card associations, coordinate requests from business units, and leverage synergies across the bank to negotiate favourable terms and drive value for clients and the institution.

We require 8–10 years in banking/payments with a proven product management track record, strong financial analysis and vendor negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of consumer card products.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years experience in banking and payments with a proven product management track record.
• Experience with Card Associations such as Visa, MasterCard, Amex is beneficial.
• 8–10 years experience in financial analysis, modelling, vendor management and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Engage and build relationships with card associations; coordinate and consolidate requests from various business units.
• Prioritize requests and leverage synergies across the bank to negotiate favourable terms.
• Deliver value for clients and the bank by driving card payment initiatives across products and services.
