Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Vehicle Sales Executive to join a well-established vehicle rental dealership. The successful candidate will manage the full sales process and ensure the right mix, quality, and availability of vehicles to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and establish their vehicle needs.
- Present suitable vehicle options and introduce customers to the F&I Business Manager for finance and value‑added product discussions.
- Facilitate test drives and complete Offer to Purchase documentation.
- Coordinate vehicle preparation, fitments, registration, and delivery.
- Conduct detailed handovers, explaining vehicle features and completing all required documentation.
- Follow up with customers post‑delivery to ensure satisfaction and handle any queries promptly.
- Manage trade‑in evaluations and finance settlements.
- Maintain accurate deal files, showroom presentation, and daily activity reports.
- Actively follow up on sales leads and maintain up‑to‑date product and industry knowledge.
- Participate in team and regional sales meetings.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Matric (Grade 12) with a minimum E aggregate.
- Valid Code 8 unendorsed driver’s license.
- Sales‑related training/certificates will be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience.
- Previous sales or vehicle sales experience preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of vehicle models and the automotive sales process.
- Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Automate.
- Proven ability to qualify customers, match needs to products, and close sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow‑up.
