The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Physics, have 3+ years of university teaching, and a proven publication record. You will mentor students, contribute to research, and help uphold the institution’s standards of academic excellence on-site.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching physics at the university level.
• A strong publication record in peer‑reviewed physics journals.
• Demonstrated ability to teach complex physics concepts to diverse student populations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures and laboratory sessions covering core physics principles.
• Develop syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment materials aligned with university standards.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate students in coursework, research projects, and career paths.
• Conduct and publish original research in a specialized area of physics.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and governance activities.
• Grade assignments, exams, and lab reports with timely feedback.
• Engage in professional development to stay current in physics and pedagogy.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research and grants.
• Maintain safe learning environments in laboratories and lecture halls.
