Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to join the Cape Town team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project controls systems, analytics, and forecasting to support successful delivery of complex engineering projects.

You will work with planning, engineering, construction, and commercial teams, leveraging Power BI, Primavera P6, SQL, and BIM tools to monitor performance and deliver accurate reporting across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Background in project controls, data analytics or related field.
• Analytical, commercially aware with data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience analysing and interpreting project/engineering data.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project controls systems and metrics.
• Track progress against baselines and planned quantities.
• Generate progress updates from engineering and construction data.
• Analyse performance and provide actionable insights to teams.
• Extract and interpret data from BIM/3D/4D models.
• Build dashboards and reports to communicate status clearly.
