Job summary

Jobs 4 All seeks an accomplished IT Director – Technology, Data & Digital Platforms to own the technology strategy and oversee data, digital platforms, and IT operations. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery in a lean environment, ideally based in Cape Town and working from the office at least two days per week.

You will drive architecture, enable agile platforms, and lead a lean team to deliver secure, scalable digital experiences that meet member needs and support

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (IT Director, Head of Technology, CTO, or similar).
• Strong track record in translating business objectives into practical technology solutions.
• Extensive exposure to cloud platforms, SaaS ecosystems, systems integrations, web technologies and digital products.
• Experience delivering technology, platform or digital transformation initiatives.
• Solid governance, cybersecurity and risk management knowledge.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a unified technology, data and digital platform strategy aligned to objectives.
• Own the roadmap and performance of digital platforms and member experiences.
• Lead engineering, DevOps, infrastructure and IT operations for reliability and security.
• Establish data governance, enable self-service analytics and promote data-driven decisions.
• Provide AI enablement through governance, platforms and practical business capabilities.
• Prioritise technology investments and manage risk, cost, speed and value.
• Lead and develop a lean, high-performing technology team.
