Placements24 in Cape Town is seeking a reliable Courier Driver to manage local delivery routes across the Western Cape. You will be the face of the company, ensuring prompt deliveries, maintaining a clean vehicle, and providing excellent customer service to residential and business customers.

Applicants should have a valid Code B or Code 10 license with PRDP and a minimum of 3 years driving experience, including 1 year in courier duties. GPS navigation and delivery apps familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Code B or Code 10 driver's license and a valid PRDP.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a driver, with at least 1 year in a courier or delivery role.
• Familiarity with the road network of Cape Town and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery van or light truck on assigned routes within the Cape Town area.
• Deliver packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses, ensuring timely arrival.
• Obtain signatures and confirmation of delivery for all completed stops.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned delivery vehicle.
• Provide friendly and professional service to all customers encountered during deliveries.
• Report any delivery exceptions, customer issues, or vehicle problems to dispatch immediately.
