Overview

CAP (Community Active Protection) is a proactive and dynamic community security initiative established in July in response to violent crime in the community. Founded in Johannesburg, CAP has expanded to 19 operational areas covering over 40 suburbs, reducing crime rates by %.

Responsibilities

• Compile the necessary Octopus Logs
• Ensure that all CCTV targets are met
• Monitoring of all Smart Guard Sites
• Sending WhatsApp's to clients
• Routine Health Checks on the systems
• Identifying any technical issues with regards to CCTV
• Managing the intercom at various CCTV sites
• Making sure camera views and analytic views and rules match the field file
• Monitoring Isentry
• Monitoring TeamViewer to see all sites are online

Requirements

• Matric certificate with university entrance would be an advantage
• Competent with the following software
• Ability to handle complaints
• Ability to deal with difficult clients
• Complying with all health and safety regulations
• Good communication skills both written and oral
• Previous CCTV experience would be an advantage
• LPR experience would be an advantage
• Live Person experience would be an advantage

Working Conditions

Reactive shift Pattern (max of hours per month)

Shift pattern is 7 days working and 3 days off, 7 days working and 4 days off.

The candidate will be subject to training for a period of approximately two weeks dependent on previous experience or ability to grasp information efficiently.
