Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are hungry to open doors, drive pipeline and create the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers—using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals with quality outreach. This is a remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere in South Africa.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role or similar
• Strong written communication

About The Role

This is not about spamming a list. It is thoughtful outreach, pattern recognition and smart communication, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while keeping every touchpoint high quality.

What You Will Own

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.

What You Bring

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.
