Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a Store Manager to protect and grow market share and manage day-to-day retail operations. Responsibilities include sales quoting, deliveries, stock control, customer service, OHASA safety adherence, and staff development.

The role requires leadership, HR management, and strong administrative skills within a fast-paced store environment. The candidate should have a grade 12, 2+ years in a similar position, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position.
• Grade 12 with at least 3 years related Retail / wholesale experience management experience or 5 years related Retail / wholesale experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales.
• Quote process and control Special Orders.
• Ensure estimations and cutting list correct and completed within the agreed timeframe.
• Conduct Competitor Analysis to ensure competitiveness of the Store.
• Ensure the minimising of wastage and customer complaints through accurate calibration of machines according to cutting list
• Ensure the minimising of wastage and customer complaints through accurate reading and interpreting of cutting lists
• Ensure that the performance of daily cleaning and preventative maintenance on machinery is carried out
• Promote Loyalty Programmes (VIC and Charge Card Customers).
• Manage an efficient delivery service and ensuring that the correct rates are charged.
• Ensure deliveries dispatched within the required time limit.
• Ensure delayed deliveries are communicated with Customer and appropriate arrangements made and agreed to with the Customer.
