Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting degree with SAICA training pathway requirements.
• Intention to pursue CA(SA) designation and complete training contract.
• Strong numerical ability and understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and executing audit engagements under supervision.
• Prepare audit working papers and gather supporting documents.
• Perform substantive audit procedures and assess internal controls.
• Assist with preparation/review of annual financial statements.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with tax calculations and related compliance work.
• Obtain, verify and analyse financial information from clients.
• Document findings and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Maintain well-organised audit files and meet deadlines.
• Participate in technical training and professional development.
