Job summary

Direct Hire is seeking a skilled C# Backend Developer in South Africa to join a software team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience with C#/.NET, and a track record of developing and supporting integration solutions.

You’ll work with XML/JSON messaging, XML schema validation, and SOAP/REST services in production environments, using IBM MQ and SQL Server as core technologies. Proficiency with Visual Studio and testing tools is essential.

Job description

Do you have tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences and/or matric with at least 5+ years of relevant experience as a C# Backend Developer as part of a team in a software development environment.

Do you have at least five (5) years of hands-on experience developing and supporting integration solutions using C#/.NET within a software development environment?

Have you worked with XML and JSON message exchange, including XML schema (XSD) validation, and developed or supported SOAP and/or RESTful integration services in a production environment?

Do you have hands-on experience working with IBM MQ Series (or a similar enterprise messaging/queueing platform) and Microsoft SQL Server as part of an integration solution?

Do you have practical experience using Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and tools such as SoapUI and/or Postman for integration testing and troubleshooting?
