Job summary

TFG Limited, a premier fashion retailer, seeks a Product Buyer/Head of Buying to own the product development cycle from concept to bulk approval. You will manage range architecture, supplier partnerships and cross-functional alignment to deliver compelling assortments.

The role requires 10+ years in buying/merchandise, with leadership experience and a strategic mindset to drive growth across store grids and online channels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of buying/merchandise experience.
• Minimum 3 years in management, including people management.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product development cycle from concept to bulk production approvals.
• Drive in-season trading and KPI delivery to maximise sales and margins.
• Collaborate with planning, e-commerce, marketing and store ops to execute product strategies.
• Lead and develop the buying team to optimise delivery and drive performance.
• Manage critical path and lead times to ensure on-time product launches.
• Participate in cross-functional projects such as 3D, sustainability and quick response.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify opportunities and competitor activity.
